Bicocca is an area located in the suburbs of Milan, recognizable by its distinct architecture and home to Hangar Bicocca, one of the most famous museums of contemporary art.
Despite being far from the center of the city, Bicocca neighborhood is a residential and vibrant arts scene that attracts many students, being the area where University of Milan Bicocca is situated.
This area is surrounded by supermarkets, cinemas and shopping malls.
Parco Nord, one of the largest parks in Europe, is also located in this area and it showcases the recently constructed Arcimboldi theater, where a wide variety of concerts and shows are often organized.
