Oriente in Parque das Naçoes is a modern area where the Oriente train station and some major Lisbon attractions are located.
This area was built to accommodate Expo ’98 and stands today as a living memory of that event. A number of restaurants and bars can be found on the strip along the river, as well as clubs, office buildings and modern apartments. There is also a popular boardwalk where joggers and dog walkers enjoy the beautiful Lisbon weather.
Most people arrive by metro, which stops at the stunning Oriente Station. From there, many are drawn to the Vasco da Gama Shopping centre or head straight to the several popular attractions in the area.

From Gare do Oriente you can catch both national and international trains, the metro, and bus courses that connect to the entire city and other cities, as well as other countries.
